Before driving to PASA Park to use any particular range venue on any particular day, please check the PASA Events Calendar link below to determine whether that particular range is open.  Individual range venues may be closed from time-to-time because of other scheduled events, emergencies, or range maintenance.  For late-breaking news or changes,  call (217) 257-7199, or email pasainfo@pasapark.com.

PASA PARK 600-YARD RANGE IS OPEN!

The PASA Park 600-yard range re-opened on Monday, July 15th, with the following new rules and procedures in force.

600-YARD RANGE RULES

STRICTLY ENFORCED!

 

1. SHOOT ONLY AT TARGETS PLACED DIRECTLY ON THE TARGET BOARDS IN THE TARGET BUNKERS AT 100, 200, 300, AND 400 YARDS; OR ON THE TARGET BOARD AT 500 YARDS!

 

2. DO NOT PLACE ANY TARGETS OF ANY KIND OFF TO THE SIDES FROM THESE TARGET BUNKERS!

 

3. DO NOT SHOOT AT ANY TARGETS SET AT ANY OTHER DISTANCES OR AT ANY OTHER LOCATIONS THAN IN THE TARGET BUNKERS!

 

4. DO NOT SHOOT FROM ANY POSITION ON THE FIRING LINE EXCEPT POSITIONS #1 THRU #4!  THE REMAINDER OF THE FIRING LINE IS CLOSED EXCEPT FOR OFFICIALLY SCHEDULED EVENTS.

 

NO EXCEPTIONS!!

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

 

No shooting will be allowed at any targets at any distances closer than 100 yards on the 600-Yard Range.  If you want to shoot closer than 100 yards, use PASA Park’s other range venues.


No fully automatic firearms or full-auto simulation-fire (bump fire) firearms are allowed on the 600-Yard Range.


Yes, you may shoot your own steel targets on the 600-Yard Range.  But they must be placed directly in front of, and up against, the Target Bunkers.  Nowhere else!


Yes, you may shoot at informal targets such as water jugs, plastic soda bottles, watermelons, etc., on the 600-Yard Range.  But they must be placed directly in front of, and up against, the Target Bunkers.  Nowhere else!  And you MUST clean up the mess when you leave.


Yes, you may shoot at targets (including steel targets) placed anywhere along the 600-yard target line, because the birm behind that line extends across its entire width.


Yes, competitors for scheduled PASA Rifle Division matches may practice shooting at 600-yard targets from positions 5-20 on the firing line.  But you must inform pasainfo@pasapark.com and the RangeMaster of the PASA Rifle Division (rgstick@adams.net) of the dates & times you will be doing this.

 

 

 

 

 

PASA PARK IS A MEMBERS’-ONLY FACILITY

Guests of PASA members may not use firearms at PASA Park, unless they become members themselves.  Only actual PASA members may use firearms.
